All Done…Now What?

200 Pigeons later I have finally been given the keys to Liberty City!  Now that I just have some miscellaneous achievements to gather in GTA IV… I am beyond ready to move on to new things.  The only question is…what new thing?!  Unlike this time last year when I was eagerly anticipating Halo3 and GTA IV…this July I am simply looking forward to what I always do…dropping $120 over a month to get the latest copies of NCAA Football and Madden.  But there has to be more.  I looked around online last week to see what the hottest games or most anticipated games of the rest of the year are going to be…and was vastly under-whelmed.  Maybe it’s simply my gaming tastes…but I am not seeing much out there.

In the last few days I have been playing some really old Arcade games I never purchased before (Zuma and Jewel Quest).  But I know I was just feeding my desire for something new with saltines and not something that will fill me up.  I also played the demo for Battlefield Bad Company with the same results as before.  I love the idea of massive multi-player action, but never have really figured out the mechanics of the entire Battlefield series.  And the bad attempt at humor in the single player campaign…just doesn’t appeal to me either.  So instead of learning (or better said getting wrecked in multi-player for days on end) how to play Battlefield I picked up Bully for like $27.  I played a little bit Monday and it seems fun…though the graphics are more last generation than next generation.  So what are you playing and what should I get stoked about? Please let me know!

Shame on Chris Dietz for playing video games!
He is a role model for youth, not one of them.

I've never played Zuma or Jewel Quest. How are they?
I really love the insight you give into these games. My girlfriend thinks I'm crazy when I talk about games. Feel free to email me. I'd love the man-to-man conversation. I don't have GTA IV. I only have San Andreas. I liked it at first, but my girlfriend told me to quit playing or she walks. She didn't like it when I jokingly told her I'd go "GTA" on her if she made me quit.
She's not that bad... Otherwise, I wouldn't have given it up!!
