When Tom Kenny isn't busy with Good Morning Kentucky every weekday morning, he is an avid NASCAR fan and the #24 car in particular. Short tracks or Super Speedways, he has plenty to say on how he feels the Sprint Cup is going to good this season.

We've gotten phone calls, emails, and stopped at the grocery store with this very question. We appreciate your patience and concern.
Tom Kenny has been on medical leave since mid-June. Tom had knee surgery several weeks ago. Unfortunately he had some complications, and had to spend some time in the hospital, but now he is recovering at home. We check in with Tom frequently, and we know he misses being here with us and all of you.
Many of you have called or e-mailed wanting to know when Tom will be back on the air. We thank you for your concern and we're letting him know he is missed. Right now we're still waiting for Tom to fully heal and get back to full strength. We hope to welcome him back to work soon.
Feel free to add your get well wishes in the comment section of this story. We'll make sure Tom knows you miss him. |

I blogged during last season's Chase that I was convinced that Jimmie Johnson would never lose another Cup race. He was that good and that dominant. Now I'm blogging about the same thing, but it's about Kyle Busch instead of Johnson.
