I live in florida and we were attending a wedding in Kentucky. We left sunday morning to commute home .I gotta tell ya it was very scary driving through the trees watching a tree here and there fall right in front of your car and branches falling on top of our car as well. I have been through many of hurricanes here in the tampa bay area and I have never feared for my life the way we did with the wind storm in Kentucky .While driving home we paid between 4.15 a gallon and 4.99 for gas and allot of exits had no gas at all ..This oil crissis our country is facing is becoming more and more unfair to the people that work as hard as possible just to stay afloat while the politians in washington fill there pockets with cash .. Just my opinion, Thanks - Scott

Talk is good talk is good. They should be nailing them now. Gas at 3.99 when it is on CNN commodities at 2.56. What good is it to investigate after the fact? We do not get a refund back……… It’s funny even in TX they say the price only went up 6 cents. - Charles

After the order was signed there was not any sign that the Governor intended on prosecuting the offenders as the price soared to $4.99 a gallon in Corbin, Ky. Even this morning at the Pilot in Corbin gas was still $4.99 and at Wal-Mart less than a mile away it was $4.09. How can the retailers possibly justify going from $3.44 on Friday to $4.99 on Saturday? Where is the task force to help the already crunched working person who is barely making minimum wage?

I got really lucky when I fill up this morning. I got my gas for $3.68 a gal. I really don't see why gas is going up now when Ike has not hit yet. But I guess that shows how much the gas companies are making. They were already making record profits now I would hate to know what they are making. Thats just not right. - Christy

these gas prices are redicolus, especially for the disabled people who live on a fixed monthly income..at these prices, there are gonna be alot of people losing their homes, cars, etc. this is a disature for our state and our country..its only gonna cause more violence and theft amoung our communties. What kind of country are we raising our future children in? - donnie
