I have been through many of hurricanes here in the tampa bay area and I have never feared for my life the way we did with the wind storm in Kentucky .While driving home we paid between 4.15 a gallon and 4.99 for gas and allot of exits had no gas at all ..This oil crissis our country is facing is becoming more and more unfair to the people that work as hard as possible just to stay afloat while the politians in washington fill there pockets with cash .. Even this morning at the Pilot in Corbin gas was still $4.99 and at Wal-Mart less than a mile away it was $4.09. How can the retailers possibly justify going from $3.44 on Friday to $4.99 on Saturday? I got my gas for $3.68 a gal. I really don't see why gas is going up now when Ike has not hit yet. But I guess that shows how much the gas companies are making. They were already making record profits now I would hate to know what they are making.
