A man accused of robbing a Nicholasville bank didn't exactly make a clean getaway, thanks to an observant citizen.
Nicholasville police say they received a call about a suspicious vehicle driving around the Kentucky Bank for about a half an hour. As police were arriving to check it out, they got another call about a robbery at the bank. That is when they saw a man leaving the bank and hop into a car.
It only took police three minutes to catch up to the suspicious robber. That's because he went down a cul-de-sac with police on his tail, and he couldn't get out.
Police arrested and jailed Joseph Morris, 34. Officers are crediting good patrol response time, and citizen involvement.
