Action News 36 has learned the origin of the fire at Star Light and Magic in Lexington last Thursday.
Fire investigators say the fire started in the left rear corner of the basement. They also say finding a cause for the fire will prove to be very difficult, because of the heavy damage that occurred.
Last week's fire forced the evacuation of several city blocks in downtown Lexington.
