Crash Kills Georgetown Woman

Gary LacyaltA Georgetown woman is dead following a late night crash in Scott County.  It happened around 10:30pm on US 25 near Pebble Beach Drive.  

Police say 45-year-old Retha Pursel lost control of her car, ran off the road, and hit a tree.  She was pronounced dead at the scene.  

Police say Pursel was not wearing a seatbelt.
