Along this road in Clark county animal shelter director Beth Bowman says somebody dragged this 2 year old pit bull nearly a mile chained behind a vehicle. Bowman says the dog appeared to have been dragged down “It's emotionally disturbing you know especially when you care for animals to think the dog had been tortured like that,” said Bowman. Bowman says the dog managed to crawl to a nearby barn where a resident came across him and called the shelter for help. “He had severe lacerations on him. He was still alive,” said Bowman. She says the dog died just hours later. Now there’s a $5000 reward being offered to anyone who can give information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible for the abuse “A lot of people are emotionally attached to the story because their heart pours out to the dog because he was tortured in the way that he was,” explained Bowman. If you have information you are asked to call the Clark County Sherriff’s Department (859) 744-4390. Trackback ( 0 )
