Former Kentucky Wildcat and Henry Clay Blue Devil Collin Cowgill is lighting it up in the minors.
The statistics don't lie. In his first week with the Yakima bears, Cowgill hit .292 with two doubles, three home runs, and nine RBI.
It was good enough to earn Cowgill Northwest League Player of the Week Honors.
Cowgill was a fifth round pick by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 2008 Major league draft.
