The Kentucky Wildcats went on the road Saturday and played the No. 2 team in the country to within three points, falling 17-14 to Alabama for their first loss of the season. The effort did not improve UK's standing in the rankings. The Cats received 49 votes in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll, which places them No. 33. Last week, Kentucky received the 28th most votes.
