 Our Pets of the Week for 9/5 could be considered brothers, Damian and Drew.
Damian is an American Staffordshire Terrier. He is the brown one, and he’s two-years-old. He is also a hero because he let Lexington Humane Society draw blood in order to save another dog’s life.
The black dog is Drew, and he is a Lab/American Staffordshire mix. He’s six-years-old, and he and Damian are the best of friends.
These dogs had the same previous owner, and they must be adopted together.

Our Pet of the Week for 8/28 is Jasmine.
Jasmine is a one-year-old Boxer who was hit by a car. But, thanks to a kind hearted person she was taken to a vet where she had hip surgery.
She's 100% recovered now and the vet assured us she will have no hip problems in her future.
They brought her to the WHS to find her the perfect home.
She needs a few more pounds to get back to her ideal weight.
Jasmine's gentle with kids and she gets along with other dogs, too.
She has that perfect balance of energy and cuddling.

"Pet of The Week" for August 21st was Jack Jack.
Marcus is a 10 month old, smooth-coated collie mix
He is very lovable and full of energy.

Our Pet of the Week for 8/14 is Genie.
She's 16 weeks old, Jack Russell Terrier mix puppy.
She was surrendered to WHS.

Thursday, August 7th's "Pet of The Week" was Marcus.
Marcus is a 5 year old purebred cocker spaniel.
He was brought in as a stray and needs to be the only child in the home.

Thella from the Lexington Humane Society is looking for a loving family that has the energy to throw a ball, go for walks, or even stay inside and cuddle on a rainy day.
The LHS wanted to give her a break from the shelter, so she went out to our prison program where prisoners train some of our dogs. She’s out there learning tricks so she can come back and get a great home!
